BECAUSE IT'S HANDMADE Each card is assembled by hand in small batches by Marcy in Connecticut. Tiny variations in the cut edges and alignment of the mechanism are part of its character. The slider is designed to move smoothly — if it ever feels tight, a gentle breath of air or light pressure usually frees it.
